The story behind the shot...
I took this image when scouting for the photography tours I take to Lofoten Islands in Norway. Maervollspollen is an area rarely visited by tourists and is like stepping back in time.
On this particular morning we had rain and fog, which had the making for some dramatic photos. There was no-one in sight.
We went down to the waters edge of the fjord. The majestic mountains towering above us on both sides. Despite the showers and frequent wiping down of gear, we got some awesome photos. We were damp, but happy.
