The story behind the shot...
It was canola season. That beautiful bright yellow crop. It doesn't last long and it is great to capture it whilst it is there. We headed north to capture it as there are many paddocks around the area of Edenhope. However, I wanted to capture something special.

Taken at Edenhope, this old shearing shed has been renovated to its former glory. The surrounding canola crop provided an awesome colour and vibrance.
As we were nearing Edenhope near dusk this was literally a "stop the car" moment. What a majestic building AND it was by a canola crop!! I couldn't believe my luck!
These photos were taken from the roadside with my zoom lens. Right time. Right place :)
